Description
A gear in a very special condition: frozen. Actually, this is a gear sculpted in ice for the Winter Carnival of Quebec City, Canada. It is a part of an ice sculpted bar located outdoor on a very popular street during this event: la Grande Allee. This could have been titled also "Wheels", "Wheels of Fortune"?? (maybe to find love in such a place??), "The Turning Wheels", "The Wheels of Life" What else?
But like this, "stuck" in ice, it can symbolize that the car is ice cold and will not start in the siberian cold mornings of the North, causing so much trouble all around. Can symbolize also that, more generally, nothing works, that one encounters difficulties, that there is a snag (in French, we have an expression that says it like this: "un grain de sable dans l'engrenage" (litterally "a grain of sand in the gear").
